This reference client is a Java based reference client that will allow users to test the functionality of the CCT Open Interfaces as well as acting as a template for developers to create their own communication enabled applications.

The look and feel of the Java Open Interfaces reference client is similar to the existing .Net reference client. This is to assist developers already familiar with the .Net SDK and to prove parity of functionality between the two SDKs.

After downloading the reference client users will have access to a precompiled version of the client and an Eclipse project used to build the client. Before users can use the client they will need a valid CCT login and they will need to configure the client to point to the Open Interfaces running on their CCT server.

The source code for the reference client is also contained with the download. Developers will be able to use the Eclipse project to view the implementation of the reference client. This project can act as a template for developers wishing to create a simple ‘screen pop’ application or more complex soft phone application that utilizes the complete suite of call control functionality associated with the Contact Center.
